Rene’ was born and raised in Weslaco, Texas, and came to Michigan as a migrant farm-worker. He is a founding member of the iconic Tex-Mex musical group Los Bandits de Michigan. An experienced songwriter and entertainer, Rene’ has been recognized by both the American Song Festival and the BMI Song Festival.
